He was born in Corfu, Greece and he had his first music lessons in the Mantzaros Philharmonic Society. He obtained his flute diploma with honors and 1st prize from the Nakas Conservatoire under professor Thomas Georgiou.
In 2003 he continued his studies in the class of Michael Cox and Kate Hill on the flute and with Patricia Morris on the piccolo, He graduated in 2008 with the Bachelor of Music.
During his studies he held Scholarships from the Royal Academy of Music and the 'Alexandra Trianti' scholarship from Athens Concert Hall. He has taken part in master classes with Emily Beynon, Jaques Zoon, William Bennett, Karl-Heinz Schutz, Lisa Ruoho, Paul Edmund Davies, Maxence Larrieu and Mark Grauwels
With appearances in Greece, England, Belgium and Germany, he has given world premiers and Greek premiers for pieces written for the flute and he has collaborated with the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Kamerata Orchestra of the Megaron Concert Hall in Athens and the Orchestra of Colours.
As a soloist he has appeared with the Münchener Kammerorchester, the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, the Municipality Symphony Orchestra of Thessaloniki and the Mibo Orcehstra.
In 2006 he was awarded from the Royal Academy of Music with the 'Dorothy Grinstead Memorial Prize'.
He is considered as one of the most charismatic and active musicians in his country, winning prizes in Greek competitions in 1999 and 2001, in the First European flute competition in 2007, in Thessaloniki, The Jonathan Myall competition for piccolo in 2008 and most recently the “Barenreiter Urtext Prize” in the ARD flute competition in 2015.
He appears also with the Ventus Ensemble, were he is a founder member.
He is the principal flute of the Thessaloniki State Symphony orchestra since 2008.
